We are looking for a Development Operations Engineer to join our Derwent Innovation team in Noida, working in a hybrid work environment This is an amazing opportunity to be part of a business that is investing to create the most powerful and innovative patent search solutions in the world You will see solutions you develop get used by tens of thousands of IP and RD professionals This is an opportunity to be part of an empowered technology team, measured by how well it creatively solves customer problems, rather than by how much code it generates About You - experience, education, skills, and accomplishments At least 3 years of professional software development experience and 3 years as DevOps Engineer or similar skillsets with experience on various CI/CD and configuration management tools eg, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Maven, Gradle, Spinnaker, Gitlab, Ansible, Cloud Formation, Terraform, or similar CI/CD orchestrator tool(s). AWS experience managing some of the following services including but not limited to: EC2, RDS, ECS, Containers, IAM, S3, Route53, VPC, EKS, SNS, SQS, Lambda. Experience developing Pipelines on a build server (Jenkins/Azure DevOps/etc). Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Proven ability on at least one programming language and to provide automation solutions using Bash Shell, PowerShell, Python and JSON. Experience with writing complex scripts/services that pull and manipulate data from heterogeneous data sources, REST APIs, databases, flat files, etc Knowledge in operating system administration, programming languages, cloud platform deployment, and networking protocols. Must have knowledge on full-stack monitoring capabilities, security testing, detection, and compliance tools. It would be great if you also had Ability to support database servers like DynamoDB, Oracle, MySQL, Postgres in cloud. Datadog experience a plus. A Kubernetes or AWS Certification. What will you be doing in this role Drive integration and delivery of technical solutions aligned with product roadmaps, customer needs, and strategic priorities. Design, develop and implement the product infrastructure architecture, including microservices leveraging Terraform automated scripts for build/deploy of Infrastructure-as-code. Drive the implementation of service improvements, automation, monitoring, and DevOps best practices throughout the product lifecycle. Provide 24x7 on-call support on rotational basis for all assigned products. Own the performance, availability, reliability, security, and scalability of the product(s) running across cloud, global multi-region, infrastructure.
