Job Title Development Engineer of Data Analytics (ML + Data Engineering)

As a Development Engineer you’ll be responsible for design, develop and maintain data analytics use cases using data mining, statistics and machine learning skills while complementing it with necessary software development.

What you’ll do
1. Design, develop and maintain data analytics use cases using data mining, statistics and machine learning skills while complementing it with necessary software development.
2. Follow Agile/SAFe way of working and other Organization wide software development lifecycle practices
3. Contribute to software engineering and data analytics tools/methods on a day to day basis to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Data Analytics team.

4. Together with SW architect, review the architecture and create the technical design needed for implementation
5. Develop new features end to end through prototyping, validation, implementation, launch and further iteration in an agile environment
6. Safeguard the code quality and architecture
7. Working alongside an excellent , cross-functional team , build technical solutions that enable continuous delivery and provide exciting new functionality with the highest quality
8. Keep abreast of technical developments in own field and proactive knowledge sharing with others

9. Achieve expert understanding of the end-to-end architecture and ecosystem of the Product in Focus, Cloud systems and services

10. Analyse and investigate field issues; drive root cause analyses

11. Maintain the end-to-end monitoring & alerting system; prescriptive & predictive analytics and diagnostics
Your qualifications

• Graduation in field of Computer Science or relevant
• A team player, having a collaborative, open, cross-functional and analytical mindset for whom problem solving is a passion.
• Strong educational background in a technical/computational field.

Proficient in Python and PostgreSQL/SQL

• 5+/7+ years of experience with Data Analytics in Internet-connected products (IoT), in complex (multi-site) development environments.
• Strong problem solving skills / debugging / data mining skills
• Hands-on experience with Data modelling, Data Mining/Feature Engineering with SQL/Python, Data Analytics (Statistics) and Machine Learning (Prediction using Classic and Advanced ML Algorithms)
• Proven skill in conceptualising, developing, deploying and maintaining data analytics pipelines
• Experience with using/creating custom APIs/Libraries in Python
• DevOps engineering experience
• Experience with AWS infrastructure and services (Athena, Lambda, Batch, etc.)
• Infrastructure orchestration using python or relevant tools.
• Basic knowledge of Linux shell commands
• Basic knowledge of Containerization (Docker, AWS ECS)
• Experience with setting up monitoring systems and integrating with them
• Expertise in engineering practices like unit testing, continuous integration. Test automation experience is a bonus
