: Computer DTP Operator for Print Shop in Thane Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Computer DTP Operator to join our print shop located in Thane. The ideal candidate should possess a comprehensive understanding of operating digital printers, design software including CorelDRAW and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and be capable of handling laser printers. This role requires attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards. The candidate should be available to work from 9 am to 9 pm. Responsibilities: Digital Printing: Operate and maintain digital printing equipment efficiently and effectively. Print a variety of materials such as brochures, posters, business cards, and banners with accuracy. Troubleshoot minor technical issues related to digital printing equipment. Design and Layout: Utilize CorelDRAW for designing and modifying layouts as per client requirements. Collaborate with clients to understand design specifications and offer creative input. Ensure design elements, color schemes, and typography align with client branding. File Preparation: Receive client files and ensure they are correctly formatted for printing. Verify proper embedding and linking of images, fonts, and other design elements. Convert files into suitable formats for printing purposes. Quality Control: Conduct rigorous quality checks on printed materials to ensure accuracy, color consistency, and overall quality. Make necessary adjustments to achieve the desired final output. Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with clients to clarify design specifications and provide project updates. Collaborate with colleagues, including graphic designers and customer service representatives, for streamlined workflow. Software Expertise: Proficiently use Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to create documents and presentations as required. Laser Printer Handling: Operate and manage laser printers for specific printing tasks. Ensure proper setup, calibration, and maintenance of laser printers. Time Management: Manage workload effectively to meet project deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Adhere to a 9 am to 9 pm work schedule to accommodate client needs. Qualifications: Minimum of a 12th-grade education or equivalent. Graduation in any stream is preferred. Proven experience as a DTP Operator or in a similar role within the print industry. Comprehensive knowledge of operating digital printers and laser printers. Proficiency in CorelDRAW for designing and layout purposes. Strong expertise in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Meticulous attention to detail and a keen eye for design aesthetics. Excellent communication skills for effective client and team interactions. Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently and work well under pressure. Troubleshooting skills to address technical challenges. Flexibility to work extended hours when necessary.
