Focused on enhancing the outreach of research and policy narratives, we amalgamate content, design, and web development prowess to deliver impactful communication strategies. Currently, Impact Science services more than 150 accounts globally. In 2023, we serviced over 900 clients with 5700+ projects. We are on the lookout for a Design Lead who will be a cornerstone in: Driving the conversion of research based results and inferences into engaging and accessible multimedia digital and print formats such as infographics, emailers, illustrations, webpage designs, visual video storyboards, banners, posters, standees, flyers, brochures, whitepapers, reports, coffee table books, and more. Communicating brand vision for diverse stakeholders in the research and innovation ecosystem, to enable networking, collaboration, and change. This role mandates a harmonious blend of the ability to interact with content with a flair for creative visual articulation, while upholding brand identity. Responsibilities Design Delivery: Drive design vision by understanding client briefs, outlining design requirements, and collaborating with the design team for project execution. Conceptualize audio-visual outputs and provide innovative design solutions aligned with client brand guidelines. Create brand identity elements such as logos, guidelines, webpage layouts, and more to enhance brand image. Craft various multimedia collateral designs when necessary. Stakeholder Coordination and Workflow Optimization: Stay updated on design trends in relevant industries and platforms. Continuously improve design processes for efficiency and effectiveness. Enhance design approaches and workflows to align with client business goals. Collaborate with various team members to manage projects from client brief to delivery. Provide necessary information to downstream and upstream stakeholders according to established processes. Quality and Time Management: Address client complaints by identifying root causes and implementing necessary improvements. Ensure error-free deliverables that meet client quality standards. Complete all deliverables within specified timelines. #LI-REMOTE Qualifications and Prerequisites 2-5 years of experience in website design, infographics, print design, brand design, product design, and video/scientific visualization. Degree in designing, fine arts, or visual communication, or equivalent industry experience. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, with working knowledge of Figma, 3D graphics, animation, print assets, and AI-based designing tools. Skilled in researching, comprehending, and engaging with content spanning multiple design formats within STEM and HSS domains. Preferred experience with Indian clients, including government bodies, academic societies, universities, labs, and brands.
