Project Overview: In this pivotal role, you will spearhead Lend a Hand India\'s key initiative to integrate vocational education with mainstream education for grades 9 to 12th. One of the key components for students to be able to make informed career choices is through career guidance. You will focus on managing and coordinating the career guidance component under the \'Samagra Shiksha\' scheme, directly enabling students to know the various career opportunities as per their strengths and choices. This role involves developing strategic roadmaps, overseeing project execution, and ensuring effective collaboration with various stakeholders, including government agencies and educational institutions. You will be instrumental in driving the mission to support the students in choosing their career paths helping them to utilise their full potential impacting over a million students across India.

Liaise with Samagra Shiksha officials for planning, execution, and monitoring of career counselling activities
Prepare and manage official documentation, including letters, proposals, and presentations
Develop and implement monitoring strategies for timely program execution with appropriate use of technology
Harness data analytics to monitor and report on program progress, employing advanced tools for comprehensive insights and informed decision-making.
Manage the budget and planning for various components of career counselling
Lead and orchestrate stakeholder meetings and events, fostering a collaborative platform for exchange, alignment, and decision-making, ensuring the program\'s objectives resonate across all involved parties.
Ensure seamless implementation of career counselling in collaboration with government officials and career counselling partners
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to drive career counselling initiatives
Establish industry linkages and advocate for career counselling initiatives
Stay updated with government schemes and programs related to career counselling
Collaborate with teams across states to share learnings and best practices
Develop strategic roadmaps to expand Lend-a-Hand India\'s presence and operations
Requirements
Master\'s degree in Psychology (preferred), Social Work, Public Policy, or related fields
At least 4-8 years of experience in career counselling/guidance programs
Experience of working with government agencies and senior management
Fluency in Gujarati, Hindi and English
Proficiency in computer applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
Proficiency in data management, data analysis
Working knowledge of career counselling landscape, counselling models, methods, and resources
Strong skills in relationship building
Ability to work in ambiguous and uncertain environments
