Creating Passion: Your Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Supplier Quality Engineers in evaluating, developing, and sustaining the quality of components sourced from suppliers in the areas of fabrication, machining, electrical, and hydraulics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement quality criteria and standards for supplier selection, onboarding, and ongoing monitoring.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, fostering open communication and cooperation for quality improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct comprehensive audits and assessments of potential and existing suppliers to ensure adherence to quality requirements.
  • Oversee supplier performance metrics, analyze trends, and develop improvement plans to enhance quality and address any non-conformances.
  • Provide technical guidance to suppliers on fabrication, machining, electrical, and hydraulic processes to drive quality enhancements and process optimization.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and design teams to ensure that sourced components align with design specifications and performance expectations.
  • Lead and participate in cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve quality-related issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to supplier quality processes, procedures, and performance.
  • Monitor and communicate industry trends, advancements, and regulations relevant to fabrication, machining, electrical, and hydraulic components.
Contributing Your Strengths: Your Qualifications
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Supplier Quality Management, with a focus on fabrication, machining, electrical, and hydraulics.
  • Proven experience in managing supplier quality teams and driving quality improvements across technical domains.
  • Familiarity with international quality standards and regulations relevant to fabrication, machining, electrical, and hydraulic components.
  • Strong knowledge of fabrication, machining, electrical, and hydraulic processes.
  • Proficiency in quality control methodologies, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action implementation.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong drive for continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
