Sr Manager - Supplier Quality

The company is a leading Electronics Manufacturing company, located in Sriperumbudur in Chennai.

Role :

- Responsible for IQC & ensure the receipt inspection process as per defined procedure

- Communication to Supplier through SQA for Quality concerns in lot/ parts received from Supplier.

- Monitor supplier rejection PPM.

- Effectiveness Monitoring of Supplier corrective actions.

- Suppliers visit & promoting the use of process improvement techniques

- Defining the Quality System scope and strategy for the wider business

- Preparing and presenting performance reports for senior management

- Providing training on Quality topics and raising awareness

- Developing quality procedures to ensure that content is appropriate

- Coordinating reviews of quality procedures relating to continuous improvement activity

- Interpreting and implementing quality assurance standards.

- Develop Green Channel System

Candidate Profile :

- Knowledge of Quality Systems

- Understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes

- Ability to communicate with and present to senior management

- Experience in a dynamic environment

- High attention to detail

- Ability to work on own initiative & Technical Leadership in Quality

- Good Communication skills & Structured problem solving using Six Sigma, 8D or A3 methods. Can coach others.

- Team player, Team Leader, Supervisory Managerial competencies

- Responsible and Accountable

- Report preparation and presentation skills
