Deputy Manager Production Engineering
Job Description
Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
1. To participate in design, development and implementation activities for all electrical & electronic features in the particular electric vehicle platform (HV, 48V, 72V, 350V ) .
2. Validating the systems by making proper test cases in both system and vehicle level so as to give issue free product to customer.
3. Build & Validation Concerns and Field failures - analysis: Analysing on field, Build and Validation reported concerns and giving solution to eliminate it as ICA.
5. Must demonstrate a high degree of problem solving ability. Usage of Quality tools, Analysis tools like 8D, Why-Why, Fish Bone, FTA etc., DFMEA, Design Reviews.
6. Must have good knowledge / background on electrical vehicle with over all architecture understanding including drive train (Electric Drive Unit), SMT (Surface Mounting Technology - PC), HV Battery ,Power electronics. Knowledge of AC and DC motor testing and Electric drive train.
7. Knowledge of SMT production :-
- IPC standard for the PCB assemblies
- Solder paste printing for the SMT
- Pick and place machine working.
- Reflow oven working principles
- Automatic optical inspection for the PCB
9.Support customer care team to resolve the E&E issues for customer vehicles.
10. Initiate, Interact with CFT & Lead design engineers for system integration to realise the required E&E feature.
10. Participation in IMCR / VAVE activities.
11. Should have knowledge on working of BOM details of components.
12. Fluent in use of personal computer programs such as Access, Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.
13. BOM Verification and Sign-off with CFT for all stages of vehicle and aggregates (KITs)
14. EN Co-ordination - Coordinating for Pre-EN & Post-EN meetings, Sign-off and follow ups implementation with declaring cut-off.
15. Raising DCR, MIN, Stock Transfer Requestes, RGP etc.
Experience
6 to 10 years
Industry Preferred
Any other OEM, electronic controller manufacturer Tier 1 suppliers, electric vehicle OE or supplier end is preferable
Qualifications
BE/B Tech Electrical Engineering / Electrical and Electronics Engineeing.
