Position Summary with Job Responsibilities Purpose of the position This role exists to conceptualize, specify, design & develop the Harness Drawings for Electrical Distribution System & its sub-systems in line with defined Technical Policy and Technology Roadmap, for all PVBU and EVBU vehicles. This role defines Standards & Carryover Strategy of the EDS modules, submodules, and drives it-s Engineering, aligned to the QCT of the projects. Key Responsibility & Key Tasks Innovation and Technology management: Keep abreast with Technology trends and relevant technology providers Map feasibility of application of new technologies over a \'time horizon\' and propose a technology roadmap Develop technologies as per approved roadmap Execute and document milestones of TCDS process Develop Capability: Create short and medium term engineering capability plans to achieve functional objectives Formulate component/aggregate strategy Formulate guidelines and best practices for the aggregate based on the learnings from the projects (TGR & TGW). Create & update foundation DFMEAs for the aggregate Education Electrical Electronics & Telecommunications Work Experience Relevant Experience : 1) 12+ years of experience in domain of EDS system & sub-systems - Harness Drawings 2) Knowledge of Harness Drawings Tools like Capital Suite, Vesys 2.0, 3) Knowledge of EDS features & requirements, Validation requirements, 4) Knowledge of EDS \'V\' cycle development from concept to production from an OEM perspective. 5) Knowledge of Interactive and Generative Flow of EDS design and development in Capital Tools Suite 6) Knowledge of EDS & its components\' manufacturing processes. 7) Experience of at least 2 full product development cycles 8) Experience of new technology integration / development 9) Experience of team management Tata Motors Leadership Competencies Customer Centricity - Anticipating, understanding and focusing efforts on meeting the customer (stakeholders) needs or expectations Developing Self and Others - Recognizing continuous development is essential for success and taking steps to develop self and helping others to excel Driving Execution - Translating strategy into action and execution Leading by Example - Encouraging and following ethical standards Leading Change - Recognizing the need for change, initiating and adapting to change Motivating Self and Others - Inspiring teams and individuals Functional Competencies Tags
