Position Description: Deputy General Manager

As the needs of S/W components growing inside the cars, the strategy is to build the future cars using Software driven architecture. At ITP/ID we focus on digitizing and accelerating in-car software development by providing necessary tools and platforms with strong innovation quotient.

Main responsibility of the position include
- Leading the Center of Competence (CoC) and owning end to end accountability of IT Products, platforms and solutions
- Realize the internalization strategy for the off-shore extension and drive together with counterparts in Germany
- Align the big picture of the domain to individual teams
- Be an active part of IT-MB.OS offshore leadership team and contribute to the bigger vison of developing core applications internally
- Drive cross functional department activities
- Delivery end to end products with full ownership
- Operate big platforms and solutions at scale

Skills & Qualification:

- Dynamic & thought leadership
- Coaching and mentoring skills
- Experience in managing Business critical portfolio(s)
- Experience in Products & Platforms delivery management
- Excellent stakeholder and communication skills
- Hands on Experience on Agile methods of Software development (specially across geographies)
- Strong technical background of Enterprise S/W development
- Experience in leading Data, devops and Cloud teams
- Experience on DevOps, Micro-services & FOSS
Automotive background & German language are an added advantage
