Job Description


DESIGNATION: DEPOT MANAGER LOCATION: BANGALORE DEPOT

  • Total Management of Depot Operations. Regular review of operations & consistency.


  • Accountable for Depot Compliances- FDA, FSSAI, Legal Metrology, Pollution Control Board, Local State Government compliance, Labour Compliances.


  • Review the statutory requirements & co-ordinate with Govt. Departments.


  • Accountable for review of the Warehouse & ensure storage as per the company policies & Goods Storage Practices, Good Distribution Practices.


  • Accountable on control on standard operating procedures on receipt of goods, storage, cold chain management, dispatch of goods, expiry claim settlements. Ensure that the procedures of Deviations, Change Control, Risk Assessment etc. are monitored and cleared with the CQA.


  • Accountable for maintenance of all registers for Compliances.


  • Follow Delegation of Authority implemented by HO.


  • Cross functional co-ordination with all functional departments of HO, Sales & marketing departments for achievement of common goals, Business Revenue Support.


  • Field service management \xe2\x80\x93 Doctor samples, Promotional inputs allocation, DCR of off-roll field employees, E-Separation checklist clearance of Cipla Field employees.
  • Customer service management, regular market visits & audits, Trade association issue handling.


  • National Depot Handling / CFA operations monitoring (Mahaveer)


  • Infrastructure/safety & security of Depot (safety training to staff)
  • Proper & effective utilization of Man Power issued through manpower vendors, direct, coordinate, assign, monitor and review the work of individuals engaged in supply chain and related duties, comply to the statutory requirements.


  • Review & total co-ordination with all Internal Audits, External Audits, Market Audits & Internal Finance Controls and compliance of audit points.


  • Customer service management, regular market visits & audits, Trade association issue handling.


  • Maintenance of safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures complying with Legal Regulatory affairs. (EHS)


  • Forecasting of Financial objectives, Budgetary controls, Tracking of Depot Expenses and Cost savings.


  • Accountable for Debtors Management \xe2\x80\x93 Overall control of Stockist Collection & Credit / Institution payment follow-up & realisation.


  • Finalisation of Depot Vendors, Performance review of various vendors at Depot \xe2\x80\x93 Transporters, Carting Agents, AMC vendors etc.


  • Identify staff training, Team motivation, training & development of team.
