Title: Demand Generation Copywriter Egnyte is looking for a Demand Generation Copywriter to write American English direct response copy that supports our goals to convert prospects to sales opportunities and to help improve the effectiveness of our digital marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a passion for writing and possess strong written communication skills. The Demand Gen Copywriter role includes writing for all types of demand gen campaigns including but not limited to: Email (to promote such things as content, webinars and events), Campaign Landing Pages , Social Cards, Social Post Copy, SEM campaign copy, SEO pages and Sales Outreach emails. You will report to the Director of Integrated Marketing to develop end-to-end campaign copy for Horizontal, AEC (Architecture, Engineering and Construction) and Life Sciences vertical campaigns. Responsibilities In this role, you can expect to work on: Lifecycle Nurture Emails - approximately 6-8 emails per month for Horizontal, AEC and Life Sciences vertical campaigns. These emails will be written for non-customers who are at different stages of the marketing funnel with the goal to increase clickthrough rate.. Webinars - pre and post webinar event emails (approx 7 emails per webinar) for both live and on demand webinars (approx 3 per month) as well as Webinar Registration Landing Pages, Social Card copy and Social promotion copy for both Paid and Organic social channels. Content Campaigns - promotional copy for new content such as a whitepaper or ebook. For each new piece of content (2-3 per quarter) you will write a copy for a gated landing page, email, social cards (3-4 for testing) and social card copy. SEM Campaigns - Topic specific SEM campaigns (1 to 3 per quarter) that will include keywords with high search volumes as indicated by our SEM channel manager. You will write copy for SEM campaign pages as well as SEM ad copy with multiple variations. SEO Pages - Topic specific SEO guides (10-12 per quarter) that will include keywords with high search volumes as indicated by our SEO channel manager.
Role Requirements To succeed in this role you will need to have:
  • 5-7 years of experience writing B2B digital marketing campaign copy in English for technology companies.
  • Strong English editorial, proofreading, and writing skills
  • Experience with Direct Response / Conversion copy
  • Experience with SEO copywriting best practices
  • Experience with social media and content marketing
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Proven success, a passion for writing and an excellent portfolio of work in English
