The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of IT projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. The Delivery Manager will play a crucial role in optimizing processes, managing client relationships, and driving continuous improvement within the delivery function. Key Requirements: Project Oversight: Provide leadership and direction to project managers and delivery teams to ensure successful project execution. Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, managing priorities and resources effectively. Client Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project requirements and expectations. Foster strong client relationships, addressing concerns and facilitating issue resolution. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of project managers and delivery professionals. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the delivery management team. Project Planning and Resource Allocation: Collaborate with project managers to develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies. Ensure effective resource management and allocation to meet project demands. Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions. Conduct regular project reviews and audits to verify compliance with organizational standards. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions. Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the delivery management function. Identify areas for process optimization and implement best practices to enhance delivery efficiency. Reporting and Metrics: Establish and maintain project metrics and reporting mechanisms. Provide regular updates to senior management on project status, risks, and key performance indicators. Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project goals and objectives. Conduct regular status meetings and reviews with project teams and stakeholders. Additional Note: What is Uplers\'s role in this arrangement Uplers is the on-the-ground partner managing services like talent sourcing, employment contracts, payroll, and compliance. Uplers serves as the Employer of Record while Welspun managers all work-related decisions, performance measures and operations. Proven experience as a Delivery Manager or in a similar leadership role within IT. Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall). Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver multiple projects simultaneously. Experience in client-facing roles with a focus on customer satisfaction.
