Introduction: The purpose of the role is to own the end-to-end delivery of multiple selected business outcomes of varied complexity and scope within the Barclaycard Proprietary Payments Gateway of value of between 1m- 4m strategic investment funding to Barclaycard Change Management customers. What will you be doing The role holder will be responsible for . Planning change o Helping to develop a business case for outcomes from its inception through to prioritisation into the execution backlog o Liaising and building relationships with key stakeholders across the Business, Operations and Technology to create buy in and understand impacts of the change o Preparing the business and technology for change through comprehensive and methodical planning and forecasting of effort required . Managing Change o Measuring and reporting progress in line with identified and appropriate governance o Ensure all relevant documentation is created and evidenced to the satisfaction of Control Boards, ensuring agreement to proceed to the next phase of the project. o Communicate to all stakeholders to gain appropriate approvals and consensus o Influencing/Networking - developing internal and external business relationships and using own knowledge, skills and experience to influence others. Well-developed communication skills are essential as this role will involve complex interactions throughout the business to drive holistic understanding of risks, issues and the accompanying mitigation/prioritisation strategies required. . Delivering Change o Ensuring that the project cost, quality and time are managed within the approved project scope and plan o Identify dependencies ensuring alignment with other business areas/functions. o Forecasting resource and budgets to within agreed tolerances ensuring any variances are anticipated and/or explained where necessary o Ensuring projects are satisfactorily closed in line with the in place governance What we\'re looking for: . Ability to manage priorities, multi-task and flawlessly execute at speed . Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence business decisions and to drive analysis and problem solving of complex operational and technology issues . The role holder will have strong people management and leadership skills and excellent communication skills with the ability to and interact with staff at all levels . Inspires the team to meet stretch targets and, through personal development and management, grow capability and manage under performance . Actively demonstrates Barclays\' behaviours and acts as a role model for more junior staff Skills that will help you in the role: . Knowledge of the card payments industry and overall understanding of the Financial Services Industry. . Payments Gateway knowledge & experience of handling change on Payment Gateways . Knowledge of Agile methods and tools. .
