About the Role

The SW Project Manager, Delivery role will support CPM in ensuring planned Features and Defects are delivered as per Milestones. They play the role of coordinator and facilitators to ensure process of daily build generation, pre-integration, integration, release build generations, etc. is running smoothly and continuously. The role will own and drive workshops, initiatives, collaborations, etc. to address special problem statements that keep coming up over time. This person will be responsible for effort estimation/analysis and feasibility of SW change requests / requirements analysis.

What You Will Do

Monitor and facilitate sprint/release planning (FPI, cFPI, TPI)
Utilize domain manageraAEURA(TM)s network to resolve cross-domain dependencies
Manage sprint/release risks aAEURA" represent in Wednesday descope review meetings
Monitor execution, the progress of implementation aAEURA" resolve dependencies/blockers to contain schedule commitment
Monitor and ensure compliance to established process and usage of tools
Hold, carry forward and reinforce program milestones, priorities, targets, etc. Ensure domains are aligned to program priorities and schedules.
Not necessarily get involved in the resolution process of every single ticket. But do get necessarily involved in the resolution of complex issues, issues where coordination is needed across multiple domains, testing teams, external suppliers (e.g. Intel, etc.)
Elvis outflow productivity management
Monitor and ensure compliance to established processes and usage of tools.
Drive OSS compliance aAEURA" establish a cadence of running OSS compliance scan, coordinate with OSS team for running scans at predefined cadence, receive reports, review findings, work with domains for closure of findings, publish OSS BOM report for inclusion in HU
Drive SCA compliance (static code analysis) aAEURA" generate periodic reports of code sonar warning burndowns, work with domains for achieving burn down targets, work with tools team and security team for addressing scan issues, etc.
Play the role of coordinator and facilitators to ensure the process of daily build generation, pre-integration, integration, release build generations, etc. is running smoothly and continuously
Play the central coordinating role between B&I team, PreInt team, and Domain teams.
Manage 24-hour work cycle between US and India related to builds aAEURA" more so during milestone releases
Work with CPM for establishing and executing branching strategy
Own and drive workshops, initiatives, collaborations, etc. to address special problem statements that keep coming up over time. For example, the following were example sample topics where a delivery manager was required to own and drive to closureaAEURA
CP and AA projection certification aAEURA" resolution of issues by domains aAEURA" status tracking, coordination between PreCert team, domain teams, print/validation for additional support, CPM SWPM for infrastructure needs, etc.
Drive cross-domain implementation needed for achieving cross-compatibility between MY21/22 HW/SW
Drive cross-domain coordination needed for resolving complex technical topicsa,
Drive workshops for feature stabilization aAEURA" e.g., Bluetooth and Projection connection stability, Profiles, SW update, Camera, etc.
Participate in customer integration workshops
Support domains in finding RCAs by doing 8D analysis on critical defects and publishing reports for CPMs.

What You Need

BacheloraAEURA(TM)s degree or equivalent experience.
10+ years of experience in embedded SW development
Leadership of large SW development teams for the full development life cycle
Escalation management
Strong communication and moderation skills
Communicating upwards and downwards
Establishing and execution of project strategy
Building self-motivated team
High degree of discretion dealing with confidential information
What is Nice to Have

Proficiency with IBM RTC Tool
Experience in working on Android programs
Automotive program management experience.
