Database Developer We\'re currently seeking a developer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in database related projects to join our team as a Database Developer. You will be a part of a talented and excellent software development team, and will be responsible for working on projects that are currently being developed by our company. How You Will Make an Impact: Act as a technical resource to undertake Database Development, Maintenance, Deployment and Support of all the CPD Data warehouse/Database environments. Undertake Database Development tasks as per the sprint plans. Troubleshoot database problems in all the Data warehouse environments, perform root cause analysis & resolve issues as per the priorities. Coordinate with different teams to address technical/functional issues. Participate in the product user story walk through, internal team discussions & sprints. Contribute towards all routine operational activities of the Data warehouse systems. Skills you will have fine-tuned: Hands-on experience with any of the leading Database management systems viz Oracle,SQL-Server, etc. Experience on Postgres database systems is an added advantage. Strong expertise in Database Development. Proficient in SQL coding. Demonstrated experience in Database SQL Optimization/Performance Tuning Proven experience with Database Programming languages viz., PL/SQL, PL/pgSQL,T-SQL,etc. Sound knowledge on Big-data/Hadoop, Kafka, Map-Reduce programming, NoSQL,etc. would be a plus. Open to learning, adopting and scaling any data centric technologies as per the evolving organizational product strategies. Ability to troubleshoot Database related issues. Experience on Data Warehouse projects, and Data Analytics/Reporting/ETL or sound knowledge on these concepts would be a plus.
