Job Title : Database Developer Location : Chennai/Mumbai/Pune/Bangalore Experience : 5-9years Mandatory Skills: PL/SQL,SQL, TOAD, : Overall 8 or more years of experience in Unix Shell scripting and PL/SQL Good understanding and hands on experience on Unix commands and Unix shell scripting Willing to learn Informix and 4GL Experience writing complex Unix shell scripts and bash commands.( 5+ year of Exp) UNIX shell scripting for file manipulation and build automation process Responsible for all aspects of backend (database) development Prepare the PL/SQL Requirements and Design documents Participate in meetings and discussions with Functional/Technical Leads to understand the requirements and work out a design Interpret the requirements and build Logical and Physical Relational Data Models Write/maintain SQL and PL/SQL stored program units/packages and maintain coding standards. Write unit tests (document and code) for the PL/SQL stored program units/packages Participate in code reviews and ensure the code written complies with best practices Continue enhancing own PL/SQL skills on new practices, frameworks and standards Willing to work with limited support and guidance for resolving complex issues Experience in Query optimization, debugging, and performance tuning for improving performance. Experience in working with BFSI clients will be preferred
