This individual will be part of a global operations team and will be responsible for managing teams of employees or business operations across diverse cultures and time zones. The operations team is responsible in supporting both internal businesses from different regions globally who support both Gemalto/Thales HSMs and Key management SW and Oracle Key Management SW

The Data Security manager will be responsible for coordinating, planning, and leading highly visible changes and upgrades to supporting platforms. They will help determine the IT needs of the supporting platforms to ensure stability and timely delivery of system requirements for businesses and clients, but at the same time ensuring security process, compliances, and polices defined by Experian are being met.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for driving the infrastructure component maintenance 24x7 and providing leadership and direction to a team of infrastructure administrators.
  • Ensures that the system sustains delivery of 99.99% availability
  • Administration of infrastructure systems, manages and ensures full operation of infrastructure technologies, including stability and maintenance.
  • Manages all infrastructure run services (e.g. Incident, Problem management, patching etc.).
  • Managing multi-regional team and ensuring the development and coverage
  • Manages Tier 2/3 incidents
  • Manages the physical deployment of infrastructure components.
  • Oversees the development and implementation of the preventative maintenance plan.
  • Remains informed of new IT developments and evolving business requirements and recommends alternatives to ensure stable operations.
  • Manages and optimizes capacity of production systems
  • Manages ongoing maintenance of production environments, including alerting and monitoring.
  • Develops reports on infrastructure activities and prepares status for the senior management regularly.
  • Contributes to the planning and testing of DR plans as well as overseeing of the recovery of data in response to disasters and incidents.
  • Ensure processes are in place to support maintenance/update and replacement of existing systems and that these are implemented.
  • Work closely with our Vendors (Thales/ Oracle ) and our infrastructure, DBA and business teams to establish Business friendly maintenance cycle including ensuring vendor updates are implemented as appropriate ensuring highest levels of system availability and security.
  • Ensure risks are actively managed and in line with reported dates and highlighting new risks as appropriate.
  • Oversee security patching and vulnerability management processes ensuring constant improvement in processes.
  • Ensure Patching of security vulnerabilities are managed within the SLA requirements for High and Critical Vulnerabilities to the Crypto systems.
  • Working with the security team ensure environment is secure and in line with global security policy
  • Willing to work non-standard business hours as required.
  • Maintains knowledge of the internal and external technology environment and the value that EITS and technology bring to Experian and BU\'s external clients and drives this understanding within team. Applies knowledge and provides input to senior management to develop policies and procedures that affect departmental operations and may impact other functional areas.
  • Ultimate escalation point for issue resolution, acts with integrity and a sense of urgency. Makes decisions in context, seeing implications for the bigger picture.
  • Collaborates with other internal organizations for large projects and facilitates cross-functional problem-solving activities.
  • Plans, staffs, reviews and organizes subordinate supervisor or staff assignments for a team within a department; allocates management and supervisory responsibilities where appropriate.
  • Establishes goals to meet objectives with strong focus on objective setting, accountability, and outcomes over tasks; maintains high standards for excellence and challenges team to deliver at that level leading with passion and vision.
  • Provides ongoing leadership, coaching, mentoring, training, professional development and support to achieve organization objectives. Responsible for formal processes including staff salary planning, personnel actions, and performance management process.
Manages departmental financial and operational goals and objectives through subordinate supervisors and staff. May participate with senior management in the development of department budget as well as operational goals and objectives

Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • 4+ years of IT leadership or supervisory experience in managing Crypto systems such as Key Management, PKI, Certificate Management, Code signing is required.
  • 7+ years of IT professional/technical experience required.
  • 3+ years of experience with Key Management
  • Strong analytical and technical skills

  • Excellent people skills
  • Customer focused while maintaining standards.
  • Ability to influence and work effectively across functional teams.
  • Experience with AWS technologies
Additional experiences below as a plus, but not required.
  • Experience with Encryption architecture is a plus.
  • Experience with Venify, Service Now certificate management, Microsoft PKI is a plus.
