Data Operations Analyst is responsible to support for key data deliverables at Silicon Valley Bank under the Data Governance framework. Should have 3-6 years of overall industry experience and at least 2-4 years of Banking and finance data management domain experience to involve data analysis to perform duties like monitoring Triage, working for data quality exceptions, Data quality Issue management, Quality Controls, Issue Remediation and handling user inquiries and Reporting. Key Roles & Responsibilities: Work with business and technology teams to triage & prioritize exceptions, Data quality, remediation, and reporting problems Engage partners/vendors as needed to initiate problem resolution Open service requests to technology teams for bulk or process remediation\'s Entrusted with improving, and maintaining a high level of, data quality. Identifies any issuers or anomalies in the quality of data within the bank\'s systems and Resolves escalated issues. Support project planning, management, and requirements to ensure best practices are followed with regards to data governance Definition and implementation of data quality controls & Triage and prioritization of data issues Makes recommendations to ensure adherence to consistent definitions, business naming standards, development of standard calculations, security requirements, etc. Prioritization of data quality issues for remediation Knowledge Knowledge of industry leading data quality and data management practices Knowledge of data governance practices (DG), Data Quality (DQ), MDM business and technology issues related to engagement of enterprise information assets and approaches related to data protection or in EDO. Skills Required: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with thoroughness and attention to detail is desired. Excellent communication skills with exceptional writing and verbal communication Conduct detailed data analysis on data used across business units to evaluate business processes and improve on/create new feature Respond to data and product related inquiries in real-time to support business and technical teams Perform various data analytics in SQL and MS Excel using statistical models or industry accepted tools Sound knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Ability to work with people across multiple work-streams. Respond to data and product related inquiries in real-time to support business and technical teams Demonstrated critical thinking: Capacity to learn and independent thinking Provide data solutions, tools, and capabilities to enable self-service frameworks for data consumers Action oriented change agent mentality with a strong drive for results. Passion and skills in establishing data governance across the enterprise Functional Knowledge about Data Governance, Data Quality and MDM Qualification and Experience: Preferred data analyst with a Bachelor\'s degree in Analytics, technology, information management, Computer Science, Data Science Mathematics related field and 3-6 years of industry experience and 2-4 years for experience in data analysis in Banking and finance industries using Data Governance or Data Quality skillset Experience with regulated systems in the financial industry a plus. Knowledge about Data Elements review in data governance glossary, data dictionary or in any other data governance tools or framework. Experience in handling exceptions remediation\'s like, Data Extract, Data Profiling, Data validation, DQ exceptions remediation and reporting, Data quality rule development and regulatory reporting Experience in any of the Data Management domains like, Commercial, consumer, enterprise data, reference data & Master data management etc. Preferred if any Technical knowledge of DQ tools like SQL, IBM IA, IDQ, Collibra, Atacama etc Preferred if having experience in Client data remediation, Data Quality, Data governance exceptions remediation for the used cases like CECL, CCAR, 10K/10Q, Party data, LFI KDEs, UK KDEs etc. 2023 SVB Financial Group.
