Data Analyst will be responsible to develop ETL tools, overall business/market analysis and develop analytical and reporting tools. This Position works closely with other functions such as energy transition, sales, portfolio, project management etc. to plan & study data for business intelligence and analytics. The applicant shall develop BI & reporting tools, ETL tools, track key performance metrics across various functions. Duties & Responsibilities The primary objective of the Strategic Marketing organization is planning and overseeing our business intelligence and analytics strategy by working closely with stakeholders across functions and geographies to develop analytical solutions, track performance metrices and provide regular updates & reports to company leaders. In depth understanding of business needs and objectives Accountable for developing effective analytical solutions and reporting tools Define company-wide metrics and relevant data sources Explore databases, knowledge of ERP systems like SAP, QAD, C4C and data warehouse Database management, Data modelling and visualization Oversee all analytics operations to correct discrepancies and ensure quality Extract reports from multiple sources (e.g., ERP, Data warehouse) SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO : Data Exploration, Data Extraction and Data Pre-processing Extract information and data from various ERP systems - SAP, QAD, C4C and data warehouse Identify, design and implement internal process movements to automate manual processes and optimize data delivery Develop and optimize ETL processes Create relational databases Develop Data modelling and Visualization Build BI tools and automate reporting processes Explore new analytical tools and implement the same Maintain the daily reports Trouble shoot problems that comes across on day-to-day basis Update existing data models, visualizations using Power BI, Microsoft excel, etc. Data Analysis, forecasting and recommendations Prepare concise data reports and data visualizations for the different stakeholders that will help in the decision-making process Collaborate with relevant business teams, develop forward looking product/report, service plans and strategies to drive profitable growth Additional duties as assigned based on projects needs and company goals Support safe workplace cultures and compliance with Smiths EH&S Diversity & Inclusion We believe that different perspectives and backgrounds are what make a company flourish. The Individual A Bachelor or master\'s degree in an engineering or business management discipline with 4 - 6 years\' experience At least 3+ years\' experience in ETL process, Data analytics, Data visualization and BI roles Working knowledge in Sales and commercial roles, especially in the B2B environment Advance Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access. Applicant should be apt in Advanced Excel & MS Access.
