Bring your passion, bring your energy, and be part of a global team that appreciates a simple truth: Diversity + Collaboration = Great Innovation As Cyber Security Engineer at IDC-HVDC- MACH PLATFORM, Chennai you will be expected to facilitate the realization of cyber security controls and management functions for the MACH control system product by participating in the R&D process, evaluation of security controls, security assessments of our releases and verification of the selected security controls. Your responsibilities

• Evaluating the cyber security functionalities of product and improve the security posture.
• Performing threat modeling/ Security assessment for products
• Performing product hardening, to allow only necessary function for products operation.
• Cybersecurity functionality verification on control system components
• Participating in Vulnerability handling of the products
• Monitoring and validate third party security patches to ensure that reliability of the system is maintained.

Your background

• Bachelor/Master degree in engineering in Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, Cyber forensic or Cyber security
• Good understanding of cyber security principles like; cyber security architecture, defense in depth, default deny, least privilege, compartmentalization, privileged initiation, RBAC, etc.
• Good understanding of basic cyber security controls like; IDS/IPS (host and network), hardening, security policies, Malware Protection, Filtering, NGFW, etc.
• Must have knowledge in Networking, patch management, Industrial protocols like DNP/MODBUS/IEC 61850 etc.
• Hands on Experience with protocols like HTTP, HTTPS, SSL, SSH, ICMP, DHCP, L2TP, PPTP, DNS, SNMP, RDP, and NTP
• Windows and Virtual Machine Administration
• Experience with Security tools like NMAP, Nessus, Wireshark, etc.
• Certifications like MCP/MCITP/MCSE/CEH/CISSP are advantage
• Knowledge on security standards like IEC 62443, ISO 27001
• Strong communication and collaboration skills required
