The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the quality control processes and governance policies to ensure the highest level of product quality, safety, and compliance with regulatory standards. Job Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and governance policies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Monitor and maintain the quality of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products throughout the production process. Conduct routine quality checks and testing of products to ensure compliance with established quality standards. Implement and maintain a robust quality assurance program to minimize quality issues and ensure timely resolution of any identified issues. Conduct regular audits of production facilities, laboratories, and suppliers to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards. Provide technical guidance and support to production and laboratory personnel to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements to enhance quality and reduce costs. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of quality control activities and results. Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and customers to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and customer specifications. Develop and implement training programs for employees to ensure understanding of quality control procedures and regulatory requirements. Requirement: Bachelor\'s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or related field 5+ years of experience in quality control and/or quality assurance in the specialty chemical industry Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to chemical manufacturing and distribution, such as OSHA, EPA, FDA, and REACH Experience developing and implementing quality control procedures and governance policies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience working with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements Strong leadership and team management skills Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and other quality management tools Knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or other quality management systems Location: Mumbai, India If you are a detail-oriented individual with a passion for quality control and regulatory compliance, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity in our Specialty Chemical Business team.
