Job Description

Danfoss Refrigeration & A/C Controls (RAC) is looking for a Cost Down Specialist. In this role you will gather, interpret, and use complex data to develop actionable steps to optimize our costs, footprint and focus. You will present reports, visualizations and roadmaps that will be executed by the Supply Chain & Procurement teams in cooperation with other RAC functions. Moreover, you will challenge the existing production setup and product manufacturing locations by continuously looking for new ways for Danfoss to optimize how we produce our products.

In this role you will become part of a global organization with the team of highly skilled and committed colleagues working closely together to achieve an optimal product portfolio. You will report to the Regional Head of Procurement and be based out of Chennai, India.

Job Responsibilities

• Improve, execute, and effectively communicate significant analyses that identify meaningful opportunities across the business.
• Provide strong, timely and clear business analytics for decisions by partners and organizational stakeholders.
• Develop actionable roadmaps for improving manufacturing locations and processes and establish and organize product driven KPIs in line with global directives, to support the organizational focus.
• Provide a clear picture of the areas of focus for the business to reach a higher level of competitiveness.

Background & Skills

• Should have strong Cost Down analysis experience within Procurement & Supply Chain
• Advanced analytical skills, with experience collecting, organizing, and disseminating abundant information accurately
• Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills. Able to share data insights through complelling storytelling.
• Ability to present findings in a polished way
• Proficiency with statistics, dataset analytics and data visualization (using SAP, Excel, Power BI or equivalent)
• Strong project management skills
• Goal-oriented and proactive
