As a Copy Editor, the responsibilities will include: \xc2\xb7 Proofreading and editing various marketing pieces, including website copy, blog posts, social media content, ad copy, and white papers. \xc2\xb7 Checking and improving content for accuracy and quality, focusing on spelling, grammar, punctuation, and syntax. \xc2\xb7 Ensuring all content aligns with our internal style guide and fits our brand\'s tone. \xc2\xb7 Verifying statements and quotations for accuracy before publication. \xc2\xb7 Collaborating with our content team, including writers, designers, and project managers, to ensure timely content delivery. \xc2\xb7 Providing thoughtful feedback on content and recommending improvements to enhance clarity, structure, and user engagement. \xc2\xb7 Handling and efficiently delivering on multiple projects without compromising the quality of the content. \xc2\xb7 Keeping up with the latest in media trends and content strategies to improve content quality and optimize for search engines (SEO). \xc2\xb7 Frequently updating our style guide to keep it in line with current standards. \xc2\xb7 Being proficient in our content management system and adept at utilizing digital publishing tools.
