We have been retained by a leading and fast growing Pharma company to hire a "Director Operations" for their manufacturing facilities at Surat. Details of the position are as follows:

• 
  Company: Our Client is a premier disinfectant API manufacturer, supplying to over 70 countries worldwide. With production facilities in the USA and India, Our client is well positioned to meet the needs of its clients effectively and efficiently.
• Designation: Director - Operations
• Job Location: Surat
• : Our client is looking for a highly skilled and experienced person to oversee the operations of their API manufacturing plant. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the production targets are met ensuring quality and safety. The Plant Head will be responsible for all aspects of the plant\'s operations, including production planning, resource allocation, personnel management and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of the API manufacturing plant\'s operations, including production planning, resource allocation, and personnel management.
• Ensure the plant runs efficiently and effectively, with an emphasis on quality control and safety.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve plant efficiency and productivity.
• Work with other departments, such as Warehousing and Inventory Management, quality control, engineering, and maintenance, to ensure smooth plant operations and timely resolution of any issues that may arise.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including FDA regulations and cGMP guidelines.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate plant performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory agencies.
• Develop and manage the plant\'s budget, ensuring resources are allocated appropriately to achieve business objectives.
• Develop and mentor staff to ensure that they are equipped with the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles.
• Participate in senior management meetings, providing inputs and updates on plant operations contributing to the development of company strategy.
  

Desired Candidate Profile:

• A Bachelor\'s degree in engineering, chemistry, or a related field.
• At least 20 years of experience in API manufacturing, with a proven track record of success in plant management.
• In-depth knowledge of cGMP guidelines, FDA regulations, and other regulatory requirements related to API manufacturing.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
• Strong business acumen and financial management skills.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications and other relevant software.
• Conversant with SAP PP and MM modules
  

Experience Preferred:

• Experience with SAP
• Experience working in an FDA regulated environment
• Experience with GC sample preparation and testing
• Knowledge of CFR & ICH Regulatory Guidelines
• Knowledge of cGMP processes and lab safety
