Role: QA Manager Location: Mumbai/Hybrid Number of days working: 5 days Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Quality Assurance (QA) Manager to oversee manual testing processes for web, mobile, and automated applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual testing methodologies, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of QA engineers responsible for manual testing of web, mobile, and automated applications.
- Develop and implement manual testing strategies and methodologies to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and project managers, to define test requirements, test plans, and test cases.
- Establish and maintain quality assurance standards and processes to ensure consistency and efficiency in testing activities.
- Mentor and coach QA team members to enhance their skills and capabilities in manual testing techniques.
- Review and analyze test results, identify defects and areas for improvement, and work with the development team to resolve issues.
- Monitor and track testing progress, report on testing metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs), and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, tools, and technologies related to manual testing and quality assurance.
- Participate in the hiring process for QA team members, including interviewing candidates and assessing their technical skills and qualifications.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize testing processes, increase test coverage, and enhance overall product quality.
- Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master\'s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in a QA management role, with a focus on manual testing of web, mobile, and automated applications.
- Strong understanding of manual testing methodologies, testing techniques, and best practices.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus.
- ISTQB or similar certification in software testing is desirable.
