Job Title: Configuration Analyst Location : PAN INDIA The Configuration Analyst I purpose is to provide consistent, timely and high quality configuration work for our custom software solutions. They contribute to our client satisfaction by reviewing requirements, providing suggestions and improvements and implementing the client specific configurations while adhering to best practices at all times. Responsibilities: Create and customize scalable web applications, adhering to software development lifecycles and project timelines Ensure quality through unit testing and checking functionality Participate in implementation planning for deployments, patch releases, and system upgrades Test and remediate configuration bundles Create and execute deployment instructions and move configuration bundles from environment to environment Advise and support internal teams on production support configuration issues and provide high quality issue resolution Understand and implement data integrity practices for historical data conversions Participate as the Configuration advisor for all assigned projects and ensure that expected results are met for assigned deliverables Check logs to identify errors and remediate Other duties, tasks and projects as assigned Role requirements : Minimum and essential qualifications, experience and technical expertise required to complete role Abilities and behaviors required for success in the role: Self-starter with the ability to rapidly grasp and apply complex business and technical concepts Solid knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook experience At least one year of applied SQL, XML, HTML and CSS skills Working knowledge of object oriented languages Basic problem solving skills Clear communicator (written and verbal)-must have the ability to document issues clearly and communication with various departments in the organization. Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables- able to complete tasks in a defined time frame. Ability to think abstractly- thinking about how the application functions and if things do not make sense. Attention to detail- must be able to look for impact items, both large and small.
