Summary
The COMOS P&ID SME is responsible for the production of COMOS P&IDs and PFDs deliverables in accordance with project requirements under the supervision of the C&A COMOS project leadership. The COMOS P&ID SME is required to apply acquired COMOS Software knowledge and skills on the work assigned.

Key Responsibilities
Conversion of Markups/ PDFs/ AutoCAD/ Micro-station files into COMOS P&IDs.
Produce and maintain drawings using COMOS software as required as per the project specifications and instructions.
Ensuring quality of the COMOS drawings and database.
Maintenance of the COMOS database.
Ensuring quality and correctness of data on drawings and database.
Check drawings/ data prior to release.
Ensure coordination with designers and engineers of other disciplines.
Maintaining Check-prints, history files as per project/ HATCH procedures.
In conjunction with drafting team, carrying out preparation for both internal and external quality audits.
Participation in quality audits.
Comply with Hatch Engineering Procedures

Qualifications and Experience
Essential
Engineering diploma or college diploma or ITI or equivalent in Mechanical/ Piping/ Instrumentation equivalent.
Minimum of five years of P&ID drafting experience.
Experience within a large project, multidisciplinary EPCM environment.
Knowledge of industry or regulatory standards, regulations and codes, work-procedures pertinent to the design and systems related to the project.
Understanding of various life stages of P&IDs and PFDs.
Proficient in the use of COMOS Software.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Good safety awareness
Focus on quality / continuous improvement.

Preferred
Experience in the use of procedures and workflows in the execution of projects.
Candidates with working experience on SmartPlant P&IDs/ OpenPlant P&IDs.
Proficient in the use of MicroStation/ AutoCAD.
COMOS P&ID/ PFD drafting experience
Education: Any Graduate
Industry: Construction/Cement/Metal/Steel/Iron, Manufacturing/Industrial
