CNC MACHINE SHOP MANAGER . KEY RESPONSIBILITY .

- Provide direction and coordinate the operations of the manufacturing floor (including all machines) and have consistent communication with other departments on needs, priorities, and issues.
- Organize programs to plan, schedule, support, and improve manufacturing efforts and enhance value-add operations while reducing and eliminating non-value-added activities.
- Coach, mentor, and develop team to investigate the root cause for scrap and RMA issues; works with teams, including CNC process engineering and quality to establish corrective actions and prevent recurrences.
- Set benchmarks and standards and guide the improvement of quality standards of products produced in the shop.
- Plan, develop, facilitate, and implement continuous improvement and lean manufacturing
- Applied technical knowledge related to the field of manufacturing
- Demonstrated ability to set up CNC machine tools.
- Demonstrated expertise in methodologies for process controls and their applications.
- Demonstrated skills and understanding of continuous improvement methods to enhance safety, on-time delivery, cost, and quality of products.
- Ability to read and interpret manufacturing blueprints, plans, GD&T callouts, and specifications.
