1. Understand business vision and objectives and derive the solution strategy, framework, solution architecture guidelines for the organization, department, or project
2. Drive requirements gathering with stakeholders, envision business strategies, support roadmap development, define transition architectures as applicable and provide viewpoints to demonstrate how architecture meets business goals
3. Take ownership of designing complex, scalable solution architecture using cloud services such as Azure, AWS or GCP and drive or provide guidance throughout the implementation phase by performing periodic reviews and assessments
4. Provide consultancy on Cloud, IoT and Edge architecture topics to customers, departments and projects
5. Guide architects to ensure success in building and migrating applications, software and services following the principles of Well-Architected Framework
6. Support projects to identify and document rationale behind decisions on technology aspects such as platform, framework, language, libraries, tools etc
7. Coach and mentor technical specialists/Architects, build proof of concepts, perform trade-off analysis, technical risk planning and mitigation.
8. Demonstrate thought leadership, monitor external environments, emerging trends and technologies, and identify threats, opportunities for the organization
9. Support in the creating/reusing necessary architectural artifacts, reports and share knowledge with fellow architects

Qualifications

1. Qualified with relevant Architecture methods (TOGAF, Zachman)
2. Advanced knowledge in cloud computing Azure, AWS and Google Cloud components (server, virtualization, storage, network, database, and securing applications) to deliver end-to-end Cloud engagements that includes assessment, design, deployment and migrations
3. Experience in designing highly available, reliable solution architecture along with implementation and roll-out of complex cloud-native solutions on different platforms such as Azure, AWS and GCP. Experience in handling the scale of large data sets is a must
4. Good knowledge of DevOps concepts and CI/CD practices and experienced in using design and development tools, frameworks, DevOps, ML OPs
5. Expertise in two or more domains including IoT, i4.0/Smart Manufacturing, Connected Products, smart energy or Connected Mobility
6. Strong understanding of Data Governance process and along with applicable data privacy and security standards
7. Multitasking capabilities to handle different projects. Skilled to build appropriate and effective Technical and business relationships.
8. Leads on user/customer collaboration and communication throughout all stages of project engagement.
9. Experienced in stakeholder management and mentoring teams/architects to build and deliver solutions on cloud
