We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate Cloud Solution Architect focusing on Azure Core and extensively working on On-prem technologies to join the Customer Success Unit within the India Subsidiary. This customer-facing position is a hands-on technical role spanning across design, build, and operations with a focus on issue resolution to remove customer technical obstacles and adoption challenges.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for technical customer engagements, working with the most challenging and exciting projects within Microsoft India customer base. You will work with select customers to lead deep technical architecture discussions with senior customer executives, Enterprise Architects, IT Management and Developers. You will collaborate with a variety of internal and external teams to develop pilots and oversee implementation projects, ensuring technical blockers are removed on adoption. You will drive technical intensity of developers and create communities within customers.

Responsibilities


Customer Centricity
  • Customer Satisfaction - Drive positive Customer Satisfaction, and become a trusted advisor to customers and partners, by leveraging Azure Core expertise to enable defined Customer Success Plan outcomes. You will actively listen and respectfully challenge to drive the best outcomes
  • Customer/Partner Insights: Provide feedback & insights from customers/partners back to the relevant MS teams including Product Groups, to enable continuous improvement.

Business Impact
  • Consumption (Cloud & Support) growth: Develop opportunities to drive Customer Success business results by working with technical decision makers to ensure they understand Microsoft's Azure Core value proposition and get value from their investment in the Microsoft technology.
  • Resolution of Customer Blockers: Identify resolutions to issues blocking go-live of customer success projects by leveraging Azure Core technical subject matter expertise. Lead the technical conversations with customers to drive value from their MS investments. Deliver all work according to MS best practices & policies and using repeatable IP.

Qualifications


Must have proven troubeshooting experience and strong understanding of:
  • Windows System Administration & Configuration
  • Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
  • Registry
  • File Storage
  • User Accounts and Access Control (Active Directory)
  • Event Logs and Auditing
  • Performance, Resource Monitor

Additional or Preferred Qualifications
  • Microsoft Technology Certifications
  • Experience in one or more of these areas desirable:
    Automated installation of Windows
    User Profile management
    Windows Update management
    Remote Desktop Services configuration and management
    Clustering
    Printing configuration and management
    Hyper-V management and VM deployment
    Application installation and management
    Windows backup and VSS
    PowerShell scripting
    Active Directory topology and management
    Troubleshooting performance issues using PerfMon and other tools
