of Circle Manager - KeyAlliances

Purpose ofthe Job:

CircleManager (CM) position in HDFC Life is a Second Level Leadership (SLL) positionthat is expected to achieve the Organizational goals for the assigned territoryin terms of revenue and cost, develop team members (Cluster Manager (CM/Sr.CM), who is a First Level Leader - FLL) and duly maintain an engagingrelationship with the channel partners of the mapped geography.

Channel specificDuties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining professional engagementlevels consistently with the Channel Partner Leadership Teams (including BranchHead, Cluster Head, Regional Head, TPP team, etc.,) leading to minimalescalations and ensures service resolution within TAT and achieves businessobjectives.
  • Accountable to drive Business SalesKPIs pertaining to Top-line, Marketshare, Product Mix and 13th month Persistency and Control Attritionwhich means the TH is also accountable to drive overall persistency, thresholdlevel market share and a profitable product mix (Term share) for the mapped Circle.
  • There are many Channels with keyalliances partner like Retail Sales Management (RSM is like Branch Banking),APS - Acquisition, Affluent/HNI, Business Banking, Credit Card Division, RuralBanking, TeleSales, Corporate Salary Account, Private Banking, etc., out ofwhich the Circle Manager will be mapped to a single or set of channels for theposition.
  • Plan the Business Travel for the month/quarterand ensure the same is been fulfilled to engage team and drive businessobjectives.
  • Develop the Cluster Manager/Sr. ClusterManager skills (First Level Leadership - FLL) and ensure they manage their directreportees (FLS) with apt/right engagements leading to low attrition and highproductivity levels in the Cirlce.
  • Invest time and efforts towards developingthe FLL skills and competencies to ensure they manage their FLS fraternity efficientlyand thereby leading to higher channel partner engagement and reduced attrition.
  • Build one's own team throughReferrals and ensure 100% manning overall for the month
  • Accountable to ensure the 0-6 monthsFLS engagements are been done timely and aptly by the FLLs leading to FLS's on time probation success (includesconducting timely On-the-Job training support by FLL).
  • Ability to manage the multi-taskactivities pertaining to Sales Management Process, First Time Right on Login toConversion, Org. initiatives, Contests, Personal & Business Hygiene, etc.,are been efficiently driven and sustained in the Circle.
  • Maintain collaborative approach withinternal and external stakeholders and thereby fulfill business objectives seamlessly.
Knowledge,Skills & Abilities required for the profile:
  • EducationalQualification: Graduate or Post Graduate
  • Age:28 to 42 yrs
  • WorkExperience: 7 to 12 years ofretail/distribution sales experience, out of which minimum 5 years of team management experience is essential. Channel Partner sales management exposure in Insurance/BFSI will be an added advantage.
