Position: Mechanical Engineer - Utilities, HVAC, Fire Protection System (FPS) for Design &

Construction

Job Location:

Based at Dahej, Gujarat, during the project construction phase and during FEED/Detail Engineering Phase he required to travel from Dahej to Corprte Office at Navi Mumbai/Thane or Consultant Office in Mumbai/Gujarat on need basis.

Experience : Minimum 10 - 12 years of relevant experience in managing Greenfield & Brownfield Projects for Pharmaceutical / Chemical / Specialty Chemicals / Agrochemical industries.

About Company : A client of ciel HR, MNC Speciality manufacturing company having greenfield project in Dahej.

Experience, Knowledge, skills & competency:

1. Minimum 10 - 12 years of relevant experience in managing Greenfield & Brownfield Projects for

Pharmaceutical / Chemical / Specialty Chemicals / Agrochemical industries.

2. Minimum 10 years worked as Utilities, HVAC, & Fire Protection System (FPS) Engineer - Design &

Construction from Client or for EPCM/EPC consultants, where project cost is in range of around 1000 MINR

to 2000 MINR.

3. Strong knowledge and working experience in various phases of projects like Conceptual Design, FEED,

Detail Engineering, Construction, Mechanical Completion, Commissioning & Project Close out.

4. Good knowledge in Utilities, HVAC, & Fire Protection System (FPS) design, understanding, preparing,

and interpreting drawings and documents like Design Basis, Equipment sizing calculations, GA Drawings,

NDT requirements, ITP & QAP requirements, Workshop Fabrication Drawings, MDS, Piping Layouts,

Equipment Layouts, Technical Specifications & Data Sheets, BOQ, Tender, Contract, etc. requirements.

5. Design & engineering of equipment like Generators, Air Compressor, Boilers, Water Treatment Plant,

Water Chiller, Brine Chiller, Liquid Nitrogen, Package Units etc. in compliance with international codes

and standards, project specifications, & general specifications prevalent in chemical industries.

6. Strong knowledge and working experience in Quality Checks, FAT, SAT of Utilities, HVAC & FPS, Pumps, Mechanical Completion, Pre-Commissioning checks, Testing, and Commissioning.

7. Good knowledge and exposure to various standards/codes like GMP, Clean Rooms, ISO 14644, SMACNA, ASHRAE-90.1, ASHRAE-55, ASHRAE Standard 62.1, AHRI, Clean Room Qualification & Validation, NBC,

etc.

8. Good knowledge and hands-on experience of various standards/codes like IBR, IS636, IS780, IS908,

IS909, IS9668, IS10221, IS12469, IS15105, NFPA 1, 10, 13,14, 20, 22, 24, 72, 101, 2001, 5000, NFPA70, (as the baseline to know) IS, FM Global, etc.

9. Good knowledge and exposure to various standards/codes ASME, ANSI, ASTM, ASME Sec-VIII, Dev.1,

ASME Sec-II, ASME Sec-IX, ASME B31.3, B31.2, B31.5, IS 5780, IEC 60079-11, IEC60079, ATEX,

various codes and standards for Material, Dimensions, Welding, NDT, 3D Model, Caesar II, CADWorx,

PDMS, SP3, API, IS, BS, etc.

10. Must possess Strong negotiations skills, leadership skills, good networking, aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers, experience in collecting and analyzing data, excellent written and oral communication skills.
