Job Description
Position – Lead Engineer - Backend
Location – Mumbai/Banglore
Role Type - Individual contributor
The candidate will be in a developer focused role responsible for developing backend systems, working both independently on assigned projects, and collaboratively with other team members.
- Design and create services and system architecture for your project, and contribute and provide feedback to other team members.
- Build robust and scalable software in Go lang, Python, Node.js, Java
- Manage a team of developers and senior developers and review their code.
- Work with product and engineering managers to deliver tasks on time.
- Develop high quality APIs, services.
- Develop Code with High Scalability.
- Help improve our code quality through unit tests, automation & performing code reviews.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions & contribute ideas to our technology, algorithms & products.
- Dive into difficult problems and successfully deliver results on schedule.
Education Requirements BSc.IT / Computer Science MSC.IT / Computer Science MCA
Experience and Skill Requirements
- 6-9 years of industry experience with significant hands-on experience in building back-end services.
- Experience with Java or Go lang, and the willingness to learn new technologies (experience with other object-oriented languages is okay too.)
- Should have experience with highly scalable systems with a huge user base.
- Knowledge of relational databases and NoSQL databases.
- Solid OOP and software design knowledge - you should know how to create software that’s extensible, reusable and meets desired architectural objectives.
- Sound knowledge of Data structures & Algorithms.
- Experience with all phases of software development life cycle, best practices and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with linnu, unix operating systems.
- Must be detail orientated and have excellent communication skills. Should have experience of working in cross-functional teams.
