Job Description
Role/ Designation: Manager - Energy Systems - CFD Engineer
Experience (years): 4+ Years
Responsibilities:
1) Develop CFD models for cooling and ventilation system of battery pack usinf StarCCM+
2) Handle multiple projects independently with minimal guidance, uses best practices to improve the existing process, create new best practices/design procedures
3) Interpret analysis results and generate detailed reports with the key findings.
4) Support battery testing team to validate the thermal performance at cell level, pack level and vehicle level
5) Support the vehicle program delivery to meet timeline
6) Come up with new ideas of thermal management
General Requirement:
1. Ability to work closely with the Electrical, mechanical and Battery Technology Team internally
2. Parts and subsystem Integration
3. Automotive vehicle sub system knowledge
4. Awareness in Design Verification/Validation Plan, DFMEA, Design Release Documents and FRACAS (Failure Reporting, Analysis and Corrective Action System)
Functional Competencies:
4 to 6 years of experience in 3D CFD on thermal analysis of battery/ drive motors/ power electronics.
Experience in StarCCM+ is must
Experience in CATIA/UG/Pro-E/MATLAB is preferred
Knowledge in lithium ion battery is preferred
