Digital Markets Execution within CIB Markets owns the digital transformation agenda across asset classes. The team develop and support applications that provide automated trading capability directly to clients and to our sales and traders, across multiple asset classes.

DMET focuses on delivery of innovative solutions to automate workflows, distribute pricing electronically and surface client and market intelligence in order to drive revenue growth and market share for the organization. Role Summary

The Application Owner performs a critical role in the Technology Organisation, with responsibility for compliance of their applications with a broad spectrum of technology control and regulatory requirements.

You will work with multiple teams across the Technology Organisation, performing a pivotal role in ensuring the availability, performance and security of the applications you support. The role provides opportunities to be involved in key organisational objectives, for example migration to public cloud. This role will support the primary Application Owner in the day to day execution of all aspects of the role, providing an excellent opportunity to progress into the lead AO role. Key Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the compliance of the application with all aspects of the firm\'s technology control policies, standards and procedures
  • Day to day management of issues, identifying resolution owner, surfacing supporting data, and tracking items to resolution
  • Support requests for information from 1st, 2nd and 3rd line of defence (CIB Controls, Compliance & Operational Risk, and Audit
  • Be responsible for the accuracy of information essential to ensuring compliance of the application with all country regulatory requirements
  • Support ongoing programs of work to ensure hardware and software in the application stack remains current and supported.
Skills Required
  • Highly organised, task orientated and able to multi-task across a broad range of topics
  • Problem solving / investigative skills to track down requirements and root cause of issues / supporting information
  • Relationship management - ability to network across the technology organisation and supporting functions, influencing / gaining support to resolve issues in a matrixed environment
  • Technology literate, able to understanding high level architecture, data flows and concepts (low level technical skills / coding not required)Org
  • Data and information analysis, including competence with Excel
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodology and supporting tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence)
