Our Client aspires to be the global virtual hospital. They are reimagining the delivery of critical care through patient-centric solutions. They use their advanced technology, designed and developed in-house, to increase access to care, radically transforming delivery of critical care by impacting thousands of patients across India and enabling them to receive high quality care irrespective of their location and are moving towards mainstreaming this model globally.

Their Care Center, based in Bangalore, is staffed 24/7 by a highly qualified and trained critical care team that includes super-specialist doctors, nurses, dieticians, and pharmacologists. The clinical team uses their proprietary platform to connect to hospital ICUs to oversee and manage the care of critically ill patients across multiple regions. This platform, built by an in-house team of technology experts, incorporates automation, computer vision, real-time video, and data analytics to help expert care providers connect to and provide care to patients.

Our client has cared for nearly 50,000 intensive care patients across India and saved numerous lives.

JOB DESCRIPTION :

- Our client is looking for an experienced CFO to undertake and lead the existing finance team in all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget/forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures.

- The responsibilities will also include financial risk management.

- The CFO finance is responsible for managing the company- s finances, preparing financial reports, managing audits and monitoring internal controls.

- The role will also include working with the leadership team on future financial and business planning and working closely with the CEO on fundraising and investor relations.

- The successful candidate will be passionate about working in a hyper-growth organization and be the driving force behind this journey to create meaningful impact.

- The role is a key part of the overall leadership team that is at the helm of strategic decision making and driving and articulating the ambitions for the company overall.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Work closely with the CEO and leadership team to enable the company's growth into a global healthcare leader

- Manage the company- s finance and accounting operations

- Lead the existing team and build the finance team required for the company current and future goals

- Own the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances

- Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition

- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting

- Support month-end and year-end close process

- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

- Manage and comply with local, state, and national government reporting requirements and tax filings

- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

- Lead building new relationships with potential investors - exploring new investors and representing the company.

- Work with the CEO on capital raising end-to-end for the company - including key decisions such as corporate structure, geography etc.

- Evolve the company's brand in the investing community, both in India and globally.

- Lead the Investor Reporting and Board Management - MIS, periodic reporting, Board material, regular stakeholder connects and relationship building.

- Manage the company's relationships with various service providers such as investment banks and external subject matter (tax, legal, accounting etc.) experts as required. Coordination with both internal and external statutory authorities like SEBI, RBI, Bankers, Trustees, Auditors, Valuation firms etc.

- Work closely with strategic consultants to align capital structure to suit the company's international growth strategy.

REQUIREMENTS :

- Chartered Accountant or MBA Finance with 10 plus years of experience

- Proven working experience as a financial controller

- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures

- Experience with creating financial statements

- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process

- Excellent accounting so ware user and administration skills

- Experience of leading and closing investment transactions

- Strong analytical, numerical, and spreadsheet skills

- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Growth mindset and ability to wear multiple hats and work closely with leadership team to propel growth
