As an experienced Software Engineer, you will work in a dynamic, agile team to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. Depending on the team that you join, you could be developing mobile features that give our customers and clients more control over how they bank with us, strategizing on how big data can make our trading systems quicker, creating the next innovation in payments for merchants, or supporting the integration of our private and public cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop state of the art machine learning and natural language processing models to power our conversational AI systems, our predictive engagement and recommendation systems.
• Research and explore new machine learning methods while building models with real world data, experiment with various techniques and participate in knowledge sharing across the ML community at the firm.
• Partner and collaborate with various teams within business, product management, technology and other data science teams to build machine learning systems and solutions to solve customer problems.
• Partner with product, data science, legal and other teams to deploy models and solutions into production.
• Drive optimization of our production models while building capabilities to automate and streamline the data and ML pipeline.
• Collaborate on firmwide initiatives by developing large-scale frameworks to accelerate the application of machine learning models across different areas of the business

Minimum Qualifications

• [Assoc]: MS in a quantitative discipline, e.g. Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Operations Research, Optimization, or Data Science
• Solid background in personalization/recommendation, speech recognition, NLP.
• Hands-on 5+ ML experience and solid understanding of machine learning and deep learning methods
• Experience with machine learning and deep learning toolkits (e.g.: TensorFlow, PyTorch, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, Pandas)
• Ability to design experiments and training frameworks, and to outline and evaluate intrinsic and extrinsic metrics for model performance aligned with business goals
• Experience with big data and scalable model training
• Solid written and spoken communication to effectively communicate technical concepts and results to both technical and business audiences
• Curious, hardworking and detail-oriented, and motivated by complex analytical problems
• Ability to work both independently and in highly collaborative team environments

Beneficial Skills

• Understanding of NLP, NLG, Recommendation systems and ranking.
• Experience with cloud-native deployment in a large scale distributed environment
• Ability to develop and debug production-quality code
• Familiarity with continuous integration models and unit test development
