This position is for Danaher's PID Digital team located at Danaher India Development Center (IDC), Bangalore
IDC is a research and development center with the vision of accelerating product roadmaps across various Danaher business segments. Started in 2014, the center now hosts 60+ associates for multiple Danaher operating companies. The operating companies includes PID Digital, Laetus, Beckman Coulter, Radiometer, Leica Biosystems, LS Digital, Hach, Leica Microsystems, IDBS, SCIEX, HemoCue, Videojet, SCIEX, IDBS, Cytiva and Cepheid.
The IDC workforce comprises of various product engineering teams, working on development of software and hardware components of ground breaking products. IDC has evolved as center of excellence for Cloud and data analytics, with significant contributions to the key informatics solutions. The teams consist of hardworking software & hardware engineers and development managers. The teams are supported by local Product managers, Quality & Regulatory and Intellectual property specialists.
The inhouse teams works in close coordination with global R&D centers at US, France, Germany, Japan, Australia, Denmark and Sweden. Located at the center of Bangalore IT HUB, IDC is housed at state of art facility, measuring 120K sqft.

As a Digital QA Automation Engineer, you will join a team of skilled software QA engineers to drive Danaher's Digital transformative initiatives in IoT, Data and Analytics applications targeted at multiple industrial segments such as Diagnostics, Industrial manufacturing and environmental sciences.
You will be responsible for understanding the domain of your application in detail and come up with test strategy and planning.
You will work with Software development engineers to understand overall architecture and how each feature is implemented.
You will create test plans and test cases, execute on thorough testing of cloud backend services for specified functionality and test user interfaces for specification conformance.
You will also track bugs, follow through resolution and report on testing results.
Based on your thorough understanding you will develop Test Automation as features are rolled out and adhere to key quality metrics.
Must have
3+ years of demonstrated experience in test planning, test design, test strategy, and test execution of large scale, distributed cloud-based software systems to ensure appropriate and adequate coverage and control.
3+ years of experience in API testing with tools like Postman for distributed systems /API Testing for microservices.
3+ years of experience in automation framework development (ex: SELENIUM, robot framework, Gatling, JMeter, Zap).
3+ years of demonstrated experience in writing clean scripts/code quickly. Preferably Java or Python.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience in continuous integration (ex: Jenkins)
Create, optimize, and execute functional, integration, regression, stress, and user acceptance test plans and cases, and generate test artifacts.
Support and enable continuous delivery and drive continuous improvement of testing practices.
Ensure compliance of the infrastructure to the Danaher's Quality Management System
Good to have-
Knowledge on AWS or other related Cloud technologies.
Report on product quality, test coverage, and test execution metrics using Jira
