This role also requires a forward-thinking passion for adopting new technologies and approaches while remaining vigilantly focused on technical strength and maximum availability. Job responsibilities Proficient in both web development domains:the front end/UI development and the back end development. Proficiency in multiple modern programming languages such as: Java, Spring Boot, Restful Microservices, AWS or Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes, Cassandra, Angular, React or other modern UI Framework, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Karma etc. Experience with Oracle Database or NoSQL Datastores such as Cassandra and MongoDB. 10+ years of hands on experience as a software engineer with focus on modern Agile software delivery practices such as Scrum, CI/CD Jules and BDD, and DevOps Passionate to experiment with new ideas and comfortable with failure as part of a collaborative/empowered team working towards organizational goals, and eager to build an innovative culture. Knowledge of industry wide technology trends and best practices and experience mentoring teams to adopt new technologies Recent experience with a cloud platform (such as Pivotal Cloud Foundry/AWS) or container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes Performance Testing experience with Blazemeter / Jmeter and automation experience with Cucumber / Automated Functional Testing Experience with creating and influencing Domain Driven Design and implementation approach. Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and agile tools e.g. JIRA 7+ years of experience with User Acceptance testing and identifying issues including accessibility testing. Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills, and the ability to present ideas, thoughts, and information clearly. Possess strong communication, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills.
