As a Software Engineer III inSecurities Services Technology in Corporate & Investment Banking, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm\'s business objectives. Job responsibilities: Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems Design and develop complex, high quality, enterprise-transforming business applications. Prepare software for deployment to production environments and assist in releases. Guide junior developers on best development practices, perform code reviews, provide feedback and suggesting changes as necessary. Respond to and resolve queries and issues reported in production. Manage small projects independently and work as a team member on larger projects. Be part of diverse, high energy teams focused on full life-cycle development. Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization\'s desired culture and values. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills: Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience Experience in Design and development of applications using Java/J2EE, Spring boot, REACT JS, TDD and Unit test frameworks Experience in developing RESTful services . Solid understanding of REST concepts and micro services architecture. Strong technical expertise in the Relational Databases - MSSQL. Expert knowledge in Object Oriented Principles and Design Patterns. Good understanding of Agile methodologies - mainly Scrum. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines like Jenkins. Experience with sprint planning and tools - JIRA. Experience in working with GIT Source control tool. Working knowledge of Java 8 and above. Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills: Knowledge of UI frameworks like React would be a great plus. Cloud - Working knowledge of AWS deployment/hosting would be preferrable.
