B2B Category Manager - Personal care & Lifestyle products
Location - Bangalore
Working Model - In office
Roles and responsibilities
Achieve the sales target & implement plans/corrective actions required in different territories.
Increase the depth & breadth of distribution by effectively implementing targets.
To handle end to end category management with full P&L responsibility and make the category profitable with positive CM 2.
Foster trust relationships with vendors to achieve better pricing expansion of category and quality of services.
Ensure the inventory of products is maintained in an effective manner
To maintain the retail database & conduct daily visits to the retail counters.
Plan the overall strategy of the category, driving business growth, and achieve volume and revenue targets for the category.
Work jointly with the distributor's salesperson to ensure appropriate retail support.
Follow-up with different departments at Woovly for smooth transactions
Coordinate/follow up with the distributor for timely payment.
Ensure the supply of products on time to the distributors.
Maintains relationships with the dealers/distributors by providing support, information, guidance and recommending new opportunities/solutions.
To collect & collate the competitor data/information related to pricing, schemes, branding activities etc.
To keep track of the market trend and identify customer needs and ideas for new product development & accordingly share the same with key stakeholders
Qualifications:
Strong understanding of personal care and lifestyle products
Expertise in negotiation on discounts and margins with distributors and retailers
Analytical, proactive and critical thinker
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
In-depth knowledge of marketing and sales operations and processes
Ability to deal well with ambiguity, prioritize needs, and deliver results in a dynamic
environment
Strong ability to present concepts to senior and executive level stakeholders
