Business Operations Manager - Know your Customer Operations (KYC) Description Know Your Customer (KYC) Operations, under Consumer and Community Banking Operations, supports the firm by providing operational support for the enforcement, adherence and compliance of KYC/CIP standards. We service Retail, Commercial and Small business banking customers. Know Your Customer (KYC) Operations consists of the following functions:

  • Day 2 Operations
  • Due Diligence
  • Customer Data Accuracy Program (CDAP)
  • Quality Control

Key Responsibilities Provide all Business Management support to the Bengaluru KYC FCOI ED by leading efforts around reporting, MIS and analysis of data. Work with Bengaluru Local leaders and global KYC Leaders and key stakeholders to present Business performance messages, dashboards, transformation updates, follow through action items proactively coming out of some of these forums. End to end understanding of the Business requirements and needs in driving value driven initiatives through collaboration, constructive dialogue, logical thought process and data driven solutioning. Connect with functional leaders to provide exceptional service. During vacation, be the backup for the KYC Bengaluru Leader and facilitate catch up updates on return.
  • Support Bengaluru site leader with tracking key efforts, governing key action items and deliverables and coordinate for effective follow up and closure.
  • Be an effective informed back up for Bengaluru site Lead to address and attend various forums and ensure smooth communication and leadership effectiveness.
  • Partner with Operations and Reporting teams in order to achieve common Business goals.
  • Provide leadership oversight to the CDAP process
  • Ability to prepare and positively pitch presentations to Sr. Leaders
  • Display strategic ability to drive Business goals proactively by taking minimal guidance and direction.
  • Ability to influence relevant peers and colleagues to get work done within timelines.
  • Continue to nurture and strengthen strong partner relationship with US onshore and Corporate center colleagues through active Leadership and comradery.
  • Participate in finance and budget discussions for the KYC/FCOI Bengaluru team and proactively assist in managing the budget and R&O process through the year.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with strong Banking Operations knowledge. Accounting or Finance preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy - proven ability to produce quality results timely
  • Demonstrated experience leading projects and/or initiatives
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and multi-task; strong organization skills
  • Experience in production, process improvement, process mapping, risk, controls and/or project management
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills - ability to summarize findings into concise high-level points geared toward the audience
  • Strong issue resolution skills
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills (e.g., Excel and Access)
