Job Description

What will you do?

- Establish and control budget, drive financial discipline in the company, set up financial control processes including monthly/Quarterly Operating Plan, and ensure adherence to budget

- Analyse and report trends of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to drive decision making. Detailed performance management review to drive day to day operations along with business

- Ensure business segment margins are at targeted level, using levers including price and variable costs

- Analyse financial data by collecting, monitoring and creating financial models

- Competitive Benchmarking and analysis

- Analyse and report revenues, Gross Margin and Profitability of various lines of businesses recommending actions that will have a positive impact on the business

- Leading discussions on improving GM, setting targets for cost rationalisation, help business teams improve GM by better identification of trends and negotiation where appropriate

- Assisting in formulating incentives plan, validation, and analysis.

- Underwriting clients via thorough credit risk assessment models and building strategic partnerships with insurers to cover risk of bad debts

- Monthly preparation and submission of requisite data to underwriters , banks/ financial institutions and other relevant stakeholders

- Driving business finance automation projects to ensure scalability

What will you need?

- Chartered Accountant/MBA Finance

- At least 3 years of relevant work experience

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Strong Believer of Automating tasks

- Business savvy - Proficient understanding of business scenarios

- Strong analytical, financial modelling and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work and team with a multitude of different people and different cultures

- Ability to build and maintain excellent relationships across many different functions and organisation levels

- Strong financial modelling skills and a deep understanding of financial and accounting concepts

- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
