Role: Business Finance Manager

Job Summary:

A private retail company is looking to hire a Chartered Accountant with 1-3 years of post-qualification experience for the role of Business Finance Manager who will be leading the Finance & Accounting function of the company.

The company runs a flagship luxury modern retail grocery store and it\'s a one-stop destination for customers to discover the finest treats and rarest flavours from around the world. The company has been in operation since 2019 with renowned founders and has raised 30 Cr in funding.

Location: Santacruz, Mumbai, Mumbai, Maharashtra

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Develop and monitor financial strategies, policies, and procedures

Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and reporting requirements

Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes. Analyze budget variances and provide recommendations for cost control

Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis of data to support strategic decision-making

Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision support.

Ensuring monthly book closure and preparing MIS and business dashboards

Qualifications & Skills Required:

Chartered Accountant with 1-3 years of post-qualification experience

Prior experience in the retail industry is preferred

Advanced proficiency in financial software and MS Excel

Experience in Gofrugal and Zoho (ERPs) preferred

Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills

Knowledge of preparing MIS & Financial Statements
