What you will be doing:

• Act as a Strategy Consultant to the business and integrate finance into the decision-making process and develop and/or challenge strategic business decisions.
• Drive long-term growth plans and acquire resources needed to make them happen.
• Play an integral role in developing all the planning cycles like strategic planning, annual operating plan, monthly forecast, etc.
• Identify trends and generate detailed financial and operational projections. Develop reliable estimates of sales, margin, and SG&A costs.
• Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-effective opportunities to manage the company's day-to-day operations.
• Analyse and report trends of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to drive decision making. Detailed performance management review to drive day to day operations along with business
• Establish and control budget, drive financial discipline in the company, set up financial control processes including monthly/Quarterly Operating Plan, and ensure adherence to budget
• Analyse and report revenues, Gross Margin and Profitability of various lines of businesses recommending actions that will have a positive impact on the business
• Ensure business segment margins are at targeted level, using levers including price and variable costs
• Leading discussions on improving GM, setting targets for cost rationalization, help business teams improve GM by better identification of trends and negotiation where appropriate
• Liaise with Marketing & Sales team on driving effective channels of growth and conversions
• Analyse financial data by collecting, monitoring and creating financial models
• Competitive Benchmarking and analysis

Whom we are looking for:

• Chartered Accountant or MBA from reputed institution.
• 6-8 years of post-qualification relevant experience in large organizations / scaled start-ups with experience of managing cross-functional teams.
• Proven track record of managing strategic initiatives and large-scale implementation of projects
• Business savvy - Proficient understanding of business scenarios
• Strong analytical, financial modelling and interpersonal skills
• Strong facilitation skills with senior stakeholders in driving decisions and consensus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work and team with a multitude of different people and different cultures
• Ability to build and maintain excellent relationships across many different functions and organization levels
• Good analytical, judgment, tact and decision-making ability along with critical thinking skills
• Excellent written, oral and presentation communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to deliver work products of the highest quality and is able to overcome risks and issues to ensure timely delivery
