Job Description


This position reports to the Vice President & Site Leader and is responsible for business coordination for the Site working closely with leadership team and communications partner. The individual would be responsible for managing Site Leaders calendar, coordinating meetings and maintaining dashboards on various activities, initiatives, travel, etc as asked for from time to time. The individual would be responsible for ensuring necessary updates required for monthly,bi-monthly, quarterly and other leadership meetings and also track actions. and Responsibilities are executed upon directly and in collaboration with key stakeholders internal to MEIC, cross-functional partners and external resources. Examples of responsibilities include but are not limited to the establishment, management, and deployment of operating mechanisms, and information tracking as stated above. This position is an essential partner to the MEIC Site Leader. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: . This position is responsible for managing the activities of Site Leadership and interactions with various stakeholders on communications and coordination of business activities. . The individual achieves results using a combination of direct involvement and collaboration with partners across the Medtronic matrix and external resources as needed . Responsibilities are executed with minimal guidance where issues are attempted to be resolved autonomously before escalation and priorities are established to ensure appropriate phasing of various execution. The individual would work under guidance of the Site Leader . Business Coordination Activities : o Assists Site Leader to develop MEIC level governing operation and communication mechanisms including coordinating, developing agenda, facilitating, and ensuring follow-through of actions o Develops and manages tools (ex. trackers for key milestones) and dashboards (ex. balanced scorecard) to track, manage, and communicate progress against plans for various COTs/ Functional Groups in collaboration with PMO o Manages the calendar, business meetings, minutes for the Site Leader o Assists business or function leader in development of presentations for business or functional reviews o Accountable foe monthly, quarterly, half yearly communications, newsletters for the Site, Townhalls etc . Organizational Initiatives o Leads analysis of organizational health survey results in partnership with key cross-functional stakeholders o Program Manage - MEIC Annual Excellence Awards, OHS Workstreams, Employee Branding Project, Internship Programs, other Talent Initiatives o Assists business or function leader and works with key cross-functional partners to develop strategy and action plans for enhancing employee engagement manages execution & communicates progress of action plans o Manages intake & processing of employee feedback o Collate & roll-out information to people managers from the business or function leader on employee-related initiatives and deadlines (e.g. reminders on Career Development for All, Leadership Expectations, Leadership Excellence, IDP planning) under guidance of Site HR Manager o Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. - Provides project coordination support to a functional group or business process, monitors status and timetables o Applies knowledge of and experience in company operations to assist in the development, implementation and administration of project /system guidelines and procedures o Gathers and compiles information for reports. - Provides support, which may include documentation, data extraction, data review, tracking EDUCATION REQUIRED: . Bachelor degree (minimum) in Science or related field. . Preferred MBA YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: . Bachelor degree with minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED: . Strong organizational skills . Solid process or operations management capabilities . Cross-functional team facilitation capabilities . Ability to drive alignment, collaboration, and execution across complex global matrix . Exceptional natural orientation towards cross-functional partnership, collaboration, and problem-solving . Solid customer-facing skills . Solid communication skills . Experience presenting complex topics in simplistic ways . Solid competence in Microsoft excel & power point is a must . Experience in power BI or tableau desirable
