About BSG:

Business Solutions Group in any bank plays a very vital role in designing, developing and implementing solutions which are robust, stable, efficient and scalable. This Unit performs a 360 degree role in designing solutions which are customer friendly, operationally efficient, risk conscious, cost effective and regulatory compliant.

About the Role:

Wholesale BSG Lead plays a very critical role in BSG Unit to design and implement solutions catering to MSME, Emerging Corporates, Large corporates etc. encompassing credit origination, credit under-writing, post sanction, Limit management, Collateral management, covenants, monitoring, non-funded exposures- LC, BG , Trade Finance, Remittances, Supply Chain Finance, Cash Management, Payments, Collections, API banking, Connected Banking, Risk management, Enterprise NPA, Early Warning systems etc. This is a senior leadership position encompassing Banking solutions pertaining to the entire Wholesale Banking Unit of the Bank and requires domain expertise in the aforesaid Business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To possess complete ownership of the Business Requirements/Solutions for any new Business initiative or customizations in the existing solutions
  • To review Functionality Specifications documents vis-a-vis Business requirements
  • To take complete ownership of functionality testing of Wholesale Banking systems
  • To create a strategic Testing Centre of Excellence in the long run along with Head BSG
  • To design process flow changes, in partnership with Operations Units
  • To take ownership of resolution of all functional issues/bugs in the systems
  • To address impact of regulatory changes on the system functionalities and ensure compliance
  • To interface with Regulators/Audit/Compliance with regard to explaining the system functionalities
  • To have regular strategic interactions with Technology partners/vendors with respect to system functionalities, product roadmap, technology trends etc.
Qualifications:

Optimal qualification for success on the job is:
  • Graduation/Post Graduation with relevant project management / system implementation experience with strong domain knowledge of the underlying Business functions/processes
  • Almost 18 to 20 yearsaEUR(TM) experience in Banking industry

  • Knowledge of interfaces/integrations/underlying business processes
