Job Description

Hands on experience in SOPHOS, Fortinet, Checkpoint or Palo-Alto (at-least 2yr Exp.) (Any 2)
 
Extensive support of Routing Protocols/Technologies such BGP, OSPF, MPLS VPN, Multicast
 
Proficiency in Handling Network related calls regarding cisco, firewall, endpoint, etc.
 
Must have good knowledge on endpoint security like SOPHOS End Point, TrendMicro, McAfee
 
 Good to have
 
Configure and troubleshoot Layer2 and Layer 3 protocols.
 
Handling customer network escalations, outages and calls.
 
Provide network trouble-shooting services to internal and external departments, groups and customers with varying skill levels using various packet sniffer tools and network logs.
 
Work on Network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices.
 
Knowledge of intrusion detection/prevention technologies, server and system hardening
 
Knowledge in designing secure network architectures,
 
Implement, monitor and maintain network performance information of corporate and production networks.
 
 Candidate Profile:-
 
Any security certification
 
Proven experience and success with LAN and WAN
 
Strong, hands-on technical knowledge of Network and PC operating systems.
 
Working technical knowledge of current network hardware such as Firewalls , Routers , Switches , VPN , Load balancers , Proxy.
 
Worked on VPN technologies and good experience on IPSec and SSL VPN.
 
Ability to fully read network packet captures with Tcpdump, Snoop, or Wireshark.
 
Ability to trouble-shoot TCP/IP communications at packet level, through statefull firewalls, VPNs or on LAN networks.
