Drawing on over a century of crop nutrition experience, Yara established the Digital Farming unit - now Digital Ag Solutions (DAS) - 4 years ago to explore how technology could be used to impact farmer livelihoods and productivity. Today, DAS has built products for smallholder and professional farmers, retailers and other farming ecosystem stakeholders across Asia, Africa, the Americas and Europe.

About Connect and 3rd Party Channel

Retailers are an essential part of the smallholder farming community. They are mainly shops located in local towns that supply farmers with products (seeds, nutrients, equipment, crop nutrition and protection products, etc.) and services (soil testing, field mapping, nutrition management, etc.). They understand the local context and climate of the region, are familiar with the varied products and brands and already have an existing relationship with farmers. Farmers rely heavily on the retailers for farming advice and to make input purchase decisions, such as what fertilizer or pesticide brand to buy. This relationship holds the key to establishing a strong connection between Yara, retailers and farmers, and to increase Yara brand loyalty amongst the community. By providing value added services to retailers, retailers are in turn empowered to better advise farmers and recommend Yara as an effective solution to the farmers' needs.

Responsibilities

• Study, analyse and understand business requirements in context to business intelligence. Understand fundamentals of data preparation/data modelling necessary for the visualization purpose.
• Analyze pervious and present data for better decision making. Utilize Power BI to build interactive and visually appealing dashboards, scorecard, and reports.
• Transform business requirements into technical publications
• Design, map data models to shift raw data into meaningful insights and identify the requirements and develop custom charts accordingly.
• Build multi-dimensional data models, Run DAX queries and functions in Power BI
• Connecting to various data sources, importing data and transforming data for analysis in Power BI,
• Perform detailed analysis on tested and deployed Power BI scripts
• Develop strong data documentation about algorithms, parameters, models, define and design new systems
• Work closely with Data Engineers to take care of data warehouse development
• BI user management and information restriction / dissemination for respective stakeholder groups.
• Presenting information through reports and visualisation according to the business requirements and understanding

Profile

• BE/B- Tech, BCA, MCA, BSc/MSc, MBA
• At least 2- 4 years of experience as a BI Analyst. Experience in designing dashboards.
• Proficient with BI tools, BI systems, write DAX expressions, and implement security.
• Experience in data modelling, SQL Queries, ETL and BI tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Metabase etc.
• Comfortable working with our tools: AWS, GitLab, Jenkins, Jira, Docker
• Good to have: Python package for data visualization.
